Pastel Tahitian Pearl Necklace

Tahitian pearls are one of the highest prized gems. Found in French Polynesia, Panama and Mexico. Each Oyster only produces one to two pearls in its lifetime. They are produced in black lipped oysters, therefore the natural colours of the pearls are dark; ranging from grey, black, peacock green and aubergine. Occasionally lighter pearls are produced, white, yellow and pink (all with grey overtones). An extremely rare pastel row of Tahitian pearls, handset as a necklace. Couple with a matching pair of diamond and Tahitian earrings to complete the set.
