Rare White Natural Pearl, Green Enamel 'Acorn Leaf' Brooch

An early 20th century white natural pearl and enamel ‘acorn leaf’ brooch. A 3.5 mm white oval-shaped natural pearl sits flanked by two delicately detailed green enamel acorn leaves. The 15 ct gold stem is embellished with two slightly smaller natural pearls on either side (3mm each). 

This pendant is a wonderful reflection of early 20th Century jewellery which was designed to be eye-catching, but less dramatic than earlier styles – subtle elegance. The lively green enamel leaves serve as a nice contrast to the warm creamy white natural pearls. 

This classic brooch would look wonderful with a sleek cocktail dress for an evening event, or with a silk blouse and smart pair of trousers for an elegant day event.
